I build bridges: from academic theory to commercial products, and from intricate designs to real-world manufactured products. 💡

As an Associate Professor at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), I research smart textiles 👕 and robotics 🤖. My academic work is recognized with a grant from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and Suzhou’s Key Educator award.

On the industry side, I’m the Co-founder & CTO of femooi: an iF Award-winning, IDG-backed company that became a #1 Tmall bestseller in its category. This role builds on my past R&D experience with teams at Microsoft Research, OMsignal, and Bambi Medical.

My journey has taken me from a PhD in Industrial Design at Eindhoven University of Technology 🇳🇱 to my current life in Suzhou, China 🇨🇳. Outside the lab, you’ll find me exploring on two wheels. 🚲
